RULES FOR OPEN BURNING

 
  1. NO Burning Permits issued on a reported Class 3, 4  or 5 day  (NO EXCEPTIONS – THIS IS A STATE FORESTRY RULE)
  2. Burning Permits will only be issued on the day of open burning.
  3. NO multi-day Burning Permits will be issued
  4. ALL outdoor open burning shall have permits (fireplaces, fire rings, campfires, etc).
  5. Minimum of two (2) adults required at each permitted open burn.
  6. Due to State Forestry Fire Class Day Report, being received approximately at 8:30 a.m. daily,  NO fire permits will be issued prior to 9:00 a.m. on any day.
  7. NO permits will be issued after 8:00 p.m. on any day
  8. Safety requirements listed on Burning Permits shall be adhered to.
  9. The Fire Warden and/or Deputy Fire Wardens reserves the right to refuse burning permits to person/persons who have previously violated any State Fire Permit Rule.
